There are only 3 things in life a girl needs: love to make her weak, alcohol to make her strong, and best friends when both make her hit the floor

Classy quotes by classy women:

"This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And babe, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about."

-Marilyn Monroe let's be honest, I totes wish I was her.

"A woman is like a tea bag - you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water."
- Eleanor Roosevelt

"So go ahead. Fall down. The world looks different from the ground."
- Oprah Winfrey

"The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be."
-Oprah Winfrey

"How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something, but to be someone."
- Coco Chanel

"The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in"
- Paris Hilton

I always felt that anorexia was the form of breakdown most readily available to adolescent girls.
- Kate Beckinsale
(Haha I had to throw this in. I'm glad you aren't anorexic anymore!!)

"Don't confuse being classy with being a doormat.  Classy is walking away with your head held high, graciously, and with all dignity. "
-He's Just Not That Into You

"To me, “FEARLESS” is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. FEARLESS is falling madly in love again, even though you’ve been hurt before. FEARLESS is walking into your freshmen year of high school at fifteen. FEARLESS is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again… even though every time you’ve tried before, you’ve lost. It’s FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can’t breathe without them. I think it’s FEARLESS to fall for your best friend, even though he’s in love with someone else. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”, and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is FEARLESS. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS. Letting go is FEARLESS. Then, moving on and being alright…That’sFEARLESS too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That’s why I write these songs. Because I think love is FEARLESS."

Drink water. sleep. exercise. homework. drink water. eat vegetables. exercise. sleep. water.

*You can lose more weight longer by doing 3-4 shorter 10- minute workouts.

*DRINK, DRINK, DRINK COLLLLLD WATER!
<3 Fat calories are burned to bring the temperature of the cold water to the same as your normal body temperature, which is 98.6F. Your body has to burn at least 15 calories for every 16oz glass of ice cold water you drink to bring that ice water to body temperature.

*Eat RAW fruits and veggies
<3 Your body has to burn a lot of calories to break down the raw fruits & veggies you eat.

*Drink Green Tea
<3 STUDIES SHOW YOU CAN BURN 35-35& MORE FAT DURING THE DAY WHEN YOU DRINK 3

TO 5 CUPS OF GREEN TEA A DAY.

So here’s the deal, we’re going to do our walk/run every day. We’re gonna run, walk, run, walk, run, walk, 10 minutes each. That’s an hour of physical activity. Ballin’.  We’re going right after nutrition. No excuses. Your exercise stuff is still in my room so its perf.
Also, we can only eat raw fruits and veggies and green tea and water and the occasional fiber and dairy.
We’re gonna look flyy in our Halloween costumes girl!

"Today is never too late to be brand new" - Taylor Swift

So I listened to Taylor Swift's CD all night while I did homework and fell in love with "Never Grow Up". It's so good. But it made me want to cry. I don't know why I felt the need to tell you that. But listen to it!!

This is something my motivational quote site sent me:
We all have IT.
It grabs us by throat and paralyzes the body.
It stands on the way to what we REALLY WANT.
It prevents us from achieving success in life.
It doesn't allow us to become the better version of us.

The FEAR.

Stuff we don't even allow ourselves to consciously think about.
So we put it somewhere in the back of our minds.
We cover it up with smiles and "thanks-i'm-greats".
We mask it with hundreds of excuses why we haven't yet achieved what we dream about every night.

But it's still here.
With us.
With YOU.
WITHIN.

Think of your most precious dream, of your most cherished goal you want to achieve.
For a minute put all outside excuses aside.
Think what's stopping you WITHIN from living the life you want.
What's your most terrifying fear? What's your deepest frustration?
In order to accomplish your goal you need to smash it. You have to face it and destroy it with determination.

Step 1: Face it.
Look directly at it and describe it vividly.
FEEL it. Acknowledge it.
You can't destroy the enemy you haven't
even seen.

Step 2: Act.
What the average person doesn't know is that
a fear is actually our friend. It's hard to believe, I know. But it shows you what you should do.
So list all the action steps you could take that will beat your fear and clear your path to success.

Random and kind of intense but I kinda like it.
Here's some pretty pictures that make me happy:

CANTERBURYYYY! YAY! You're either coming here with me or visiting me. It will be AMAZING :)

"Today is the first day of the rest of your life." --American Proverb

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in forever. And I'm sorry that I've pretty much been a downright terrible person lately. I know I've said it before, but seriously, I'm going to change. I will be classy and kind and not a bitch. Then when homeless tell me I look like a bitch it will be funny because he's so wrong, not because he's so right. I would like to take this time to apologize to you for all the times I've been rude or inconsiderate or just mean to you. I really am sorry and I also really want to make it better. To start, I will include pictures :)

My 43 things list says that I have to blog more, so I am.

Technically.. I should be sleeping. or studying. oh well.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, “Wow, what a ride!”  -  Unknown
So who cares that we didn't follow the fruit and vegetable diet? We're living our lives to the fullest by eating Taco Bell.

“Obstacles are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff you if they can. If they see you are afraid of them… they are liable to spring upon you; but if you look them squarely in the eye, they will slink out of sight.”  – Orison Swett Marden
We're gonna look these tests and sickness and everything else in the eye and they're gonna slink out of sight and we're gonna dominate everything! YAY US!

"No man who worships education has got the best out of education…. Without a gentle contempt for education no man’s education is complete." – G.K. Chesterton
I was just amused by this one.. Apparently it is good that we hate school sometimes!!

"When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." – Franklin D. Roosevelt
We can make it through this week! I have faith!!

Love you bugspice!

Okay, so I got super excited about apple picking and the amazing season of FALL and being that I don't really wanna do homework I started looking up all the apple orchards around Bloomington. So the one on 37 doesn't have a website which was boring.. so I found this place called Apple Works which is like 20 minutes from Nashville and it looks presh!
So hereeeeee you go:

Isn't this so adorable looking?!

THE SUPER SLIDE! Fast, dark, and fun. saaweeeeeeet.

BAKED GOODS! Yummm :) They have dutch apple bars, pies, and breads. Oh and they have apple cider donuts too! yay yay yay yayyyyy.

JAMS! Yay! They have this one called F.R.O.G. jelly. Apparently it's famous.

Homemade fudge and pastries. nom nom nommm.

THIS IS THE BEST PART. They have an ice cream shoppe with cider floats and apple pie a la mode and 5208502580 other delicious sounding things.

Anyway they're open until Christmas. So if we don't go to this one next weekend, we should go to a day trip in Novemeber or something and then shop in Nashville and have dinner there or something. It will be great.
Here's some Winter season pics :)

Holiday gifts! Yay candles and ornaments. Just precious!

They have pumpkin pies and sticky buns. delishhh.

CHRISTMAS TREES!

"Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns."
-   George Eliot

Pumpkin Song! (tune: I'm a Little Teapot)
I'm a little pumpkin
Orange and round.
Here is my stem,
There is the ground.
When I get all cut up,
Don't you shout!
Just open me up
And scoop me out!

"An Autumn Greeting"
"Come," said the Wind to the Leaves one day.
"Come over the meadow and we will play.
Put on your dresses of red and gold.
For summer is gone and the days grow cold."
